Aston Martin DB7 3.2

First registered December 1998 (R Reg) this lovely low mileage Aston Martin DB7 i6 Automatic Coupe has been owned by the same family since 2004 and it was very recently acquired by our long-standing customer who has acquired many cars from us. Originally intended for his long-term ownership we just happened to have available an i6 Volante of similar quality and a deal was done to swap. Finished in gleaming Pentland Green with Grey Leather piped Green, and Green carpets and with just 57,500 miles recorded this car is worthy of very serious consideration. The DB7 i6 the car that put Aston Martin back into business after years staring into the precipice of commercial failure. Derived from the Jaguar XJS the similarity to the Jaguar XK/XKR (X100 series) cars launched in 1996 is easy to recognise, but the Aston is regarded by most as the far more elegant car. The post 1998 model i6 is the car to have as the alarm and immobiliser system were improved and a driver airbag was added. There are two Aston Martin service portfolios with this car the first from sale through to 40,000 miles in 2009; this shows eight visits to Aston Martin Works Service and from 44,00 miles the Aston Heritage Centre took over the maintenance of the car and added another 15 Service stamps across both portfolios. We understand that in 2019 the usual DB7 i6 weak spots around the rear sub-frames were addressed and the car was then treated to a Dinitrol under-body corrosion protection; plus, a new a/c compressor and re-built brakes. In sparkling condition and with the big jobs done that inevitably seem to come up at around 25 to 30 years on the i6, this in our view, is probably one of the best examples available today for less than £30,000. Most importantly this is known as 'the airbag model' which has the later alarm (and airbags!)
