MG RV8

Manufactured in 1995 and exported to Japan where it lived until 2005, this excellent MG RV8 is finished in Woodcote Green with Ivory leather. With under 20,000 miles recorded and a new Advisory free MoT under its belt this is a very good example and ready to be enjoyed. The RV8 was built around a thoroughly re-engineered and elegantly re-styled version of the MGB monocoque shell. Powered by the trusty Rover 3.5 Litre V8, 0-60 mph was claimed in under Six seconds. Fitted with Spax adjustable front struts and Hoyle IRS this car has enjoyed expenditure and careful ownership. We have sold many RV8’s over the years and they seldom give any trouble, but they do give lots of happiness! We are advised that this is a UK Spec car with the front fog lights as opposed to air vents. The previous keeper has visited the Dealership and advised that the car was kept in an air conditioned carcoon in Japan. Upon returning to the Uk, it was fitted with an MPH speedo which now reads just over 4000 miles - the MOT history confirming that this is the total mileage covered from 2009 whilst in the UK. Prior to that, the car was fitted with a KPH speedo which was removed with 16000 km giving a total of just under 20,000 miles.
